Abbey Wood is on the South Eastern National Rail network, and is planned to be part of the new Crossrail route under Central London. It is reported to be a fully accessible station for wheelchair accessibility. There are ramps from platforms to the street, which is a necessity to cross platforms. Accessibility friendly : Yes. Abbey Wood is an accessible stations which is step free. Access to both platforms is via a ramp from the street. To cross platforms, it is necessary to exit the station. There are unisex accessible toilet facilities in the concourse, for which a key is available from station staff. There is also a foot bridge crossing the lines, but this has 26 steps.
